Description

Absolutely beautiful copy of the original 1958 true first pressing of the legendary Overtures in Hi-Fi LP on Decca SXL-2008. Original wide-band labels and flap-back cover with blue border. One of the earliest masterpiece audiophile recordings on the Decca SXL series, and one of the top recordings of its time, or any time really. This copy is simply gorgeous. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. There is one very slight superficial scuff on side one but it is entirely superficial and doesn’t make the slightest sound. Essentially it is mint. Really an absolutely incredible copy. The cover is likewise remarkably clean, with just a bit of edge wear, mainly at the right, and some corner whitening. Really quite clean, though. Includes the original inner sleeve as well. Just a lovely copy, near impossible to beat.
