Original US First-Pressing. Vinyl is VG++ (otherwise known as EXC)—scuffing, sleeve-wear, 2 small light scratches Side Two, the one you can’t see without tilting in the light. The other you can see—none of this of-course affects the playing. Clean, glossy vinyl. The jacket is VG+. I have played and loved this album (who didn’t?!) so while not NM, it is a very nice copy. Otherwise I would not offer it.

The Debut Album, 1981, from when The Ozzman first-cometh onto the Solo-Scene. After being FIRED from Black Sabbath LOL! And, OZZY recruited Randy Rhoads from Randy’s original group Quiet Riot, which was sort-of foundering and Randy was NOT happy with the band. Their Friendship would last until Randy’s tragic death. These two were a “Match Made in Rock Heaven.” “And the rest, as they say, is History.” That is Randy on the back of the jacket—far-right. OH, YEAH, HE PLAYED GUITARS PRETTY-GOOD Haha. I remember when OZZY put this album out (I was very young —why, practically a Babe-In-Arms!). Crazy Train was actually ON THE RADIO! There was this local station (pop music!) that every night had like a 2-hour call-in request program. I remember EVERY NIGHT we would be listening (such as my brother and me) and EVERY NIGHT, the station got like 500 phone calls “Can you play OZZY “Crazy Train?!!!” So you younger Fans will have to take my word for the fact that we used our “Landline” phones to call-in. Actually our “Only Line.” And going towards 10pm we had to watch our parents didn’t see us lol. Likely that station’s record copy of Crazy Train was totally TRASHED in a few months lol. Not one night went by where we didn’t hear Crazy Train on that radio channel. And you thought maybe Metallica or Soundgarden or Alice In Chains were the first to get Mainstream play. Yeah it was crazy. “BUT THAT’S HOW IT GOES” Kids. My favorite song on this album NOW, I think is a tie: I Don’t Know or Steal Away the Night. Mr. Crowley is also on this. The entire album totally ROCKS!! OZZY, Randy and Bob Daisley (Bob was Bass) wrote the songs and the music. OZZY was gifted in many ways. He always got-in some moral lessons and important themes, from his Sabbath days and definitely in these songs. You’ll notice anti-war, peace, ANTI-HATE, Cold War themes. Suicide, drugs (ok the bad ones; OZZY did sing of the virtues of the Sweet Leaf!). OZZY is a lot more than the average person thinks. Those were contemporary issues. Unfortunately, many are still not solved. So let’s keep trying.
