••••• Ozzy's defining 80's metal album featuring the late great Randy Rhoads. Power riffing and guitar shredding that forged an army of heavy tones on "Over the Mountain" and "Flying High Again." ESSNETIAL METAL.
- 1981 first USA pressing
- the dead wax is machine stamped "P-AL 37492-1C / P-BL 37492-1D" & "COLUMBIA NY" and etched "(J?)ANOS"
- etch looks like a "check mark ANOS" possibly a later Ray Janos mark(?)
- cover is glossy heavy card stock
- inner sleeve is glossy heavy paper stock
CONDITION:
VINYL = STRONG VG+ Very light sleeve scuff or rubbing/chafing, light hairline marks visible under bright halogens. The labels are EX with light spindle marks.
PLAY GRADE = NM- Exceptionally light artifacts between tracks or randomly subdominant in quiet passages, MUSIC DELIVERS CLEAR HUGE LOUD BOLD DEEP BOOMING FIDELITY.
COVER = STRONG VG+ Light storage or handling wear/rub, some light streaking or impressions = most noticeably a long streak across back, a few small creased areas, CLEAN BRIGHT BOLD & VIVID. The edge seams have a few dents/a few rubs through color are SOLID, NO SPLITS. Corners have some soft rub/roundig. The inner sleeve has creasing/handling.
