Description
This is a very limited picture disc from 1986. It was recorded live in Kansas City during the video shoots for the songs listed.
The heavy plastic slipcover is solid and intact, with no splits. The promo sticker is clear, intact, and surprisingly new looking. And the slipcover has a large flap that folds over the top for added protection from dust.
The vinyl is in exquisite condition. I can see practically no marks at all, just some thumbprints. But there is one feel-able mark on each side. Strangely enough, these two marks are NOT anywhere the needle would play. They are well inside the needle track; very close to the spindle hole. On an album with paper labels, these marks would be near the center of the labels. Judging from the quality of all his other albums, I truly don't think the original owner caused these. I believe they were caused either during the pressing of the album or at the store they were sold from. But they do not affect play at all!!
I purchased this (along with many other albums I'll be listing) from the original purchaser. This was a man who enjoyed his music but also took very good care of his vinyl. And he did not buy his music second hand. No, he bought only original pressings from, sadly, now defunct music stores. He knew what he wanted and he collected it. And he kept everything in original condition.
I've had these for well over 20 years. I purchased much of his collection. Unfortunately, I no longer have the ability to play vinyl. Those days are long behind me. So my description of the vinyls condition is from a visual inspection only. For that, I am sorry. But I do use both the bright, unfiltered sunlight and a very bright lamp for my inspections. And I've been buying and enjoying vinyl since the mid-80's, so I've seen more than my share. And I feel confident in my accuracy. But, if by some chance, I am way off and you are not pleased with the quality of the album, please reach out and let me know. We will discuss it and I'll do all I can to make you satisfied.
Will be shipped in a solid box mailer, made specifically for LP's. And the vinyl will be placed in a new anti-static liner, outside of the original cover. And I will include the original plastic slipcover. All original. All kept together!
