Oasis Definitely Maybe Creation (Damont) 1st Press 2x Vinyl Original NM/VG+. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
Here it is; the ultimate Definitely Maybe vinyl. Owned by me from new and extremely well cared for. The vinyl itself is just amazing. I just gave it a careful play to check for imperfections and I couldn’t find any. There’s barely even any sound on the run in grooves. The music can be enjoyed without fear of pops or crackles. There is a label flaw on one side as you’ll see in one of the pics; it must’ve been a factory error because it was like that from new.
I’m being cautious rating the sleeve as VG+. There is just the mildest of wear on the spine which I’ve tried to photograph as clearly as possible. No seam splits, no scoring, no bends, no rips, no dings, no sticker residue. Check out the pictures!
To add to the fun I am including some special bonus items. There is 3 contemporaneous clippings from the U.K. music press. First is the actual full page NME album review with a full colour illustration (spoiler alert - they liked it). Next, also from the NME is a full page, full colour live review from the same time. Then, perhaps even more interesting, is an ‘Advance’ piece from Melody Maker. Advance was MM’s “new bands” feature and this Oasis one is from 1993 before they’d even put out a record! Lastly, and maybe most special of all, is the original Creation press release for the album. It basically says Oasis are going to be as important as The Sex Pistols and The Rolling Stones, which may have seemed ridiculous at the time but with the benefit of hindsight it seems fair.
Please look closely at the pictures; I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on so I’m including pics of everything you might want to see (except the DAMONT run-out etching which was just impossible to photograph; you’ll just have to trust me on that one)
You can also trust me that this record will reach you in exactly the condition it leaves me. I am very experienced and extremely thoughtful in my packaging. Records removed to avoid seam splits, pro-mailer, plastic sleeve and plenty of off-axis corrugated card stiffeners.
I will be posting with Royal Mail including insurance to cover the value. This will make postage a bit expensive but the peace of mind it is worth it and I will charge cost only. If it ends up cheaper than expected you will be refunded. ***I can’t increase the insurance value on this listing and I have to guess a price for international but rest assured I will do the best option and as mentioned I will refund you any excess I have charged.
