Notes:Zwanzig Jahre ist es mittlerweile her, dass “Definitely Maybe” von Oasis veröffentlicht worden ist. Es war bis zu jenem Zeitpunkt das sich am schnellsten verkaufende Debütalbum. Weltweit ging es mehr als 5 Millionen Mal über den Ladentresen. Auf Vinyl ist das Album schon seit einer ganzen Weile nicht mehr zu haben, abgesehen von inoffiziellen Bootlegs ist das Album seit 1994 nicht wieder auf Vinyl gepresst worden. Zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum des Albums wurde dieses neu aufgelegt und als Super Deluxe Box Set heraus gebracht.
Für die Wiederveröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums hat die Band das Album eigens von Ian Cooper in den Metropolis Studios remastern lassen. Die Neupressung kommt auf hochwertigem Doppelvinyl auf 180 Gramm daher. Das Album enthält einen Download-Code, der nicht nur dazu berechtigt “Definitely Maybe” herunterzuladen, sondern sämtliche Aufnahmen, die im Deluxe Boxset enthalten sind.
Neben dem Album auf 180 Gramm Doppelvinyl enthält das Boxset eine 7” mit zwei Songs, die es sonst nirgendwo zu kaufen geben wird – Supersonic (Live At Glasgow Tramshed) und Cigarettes & Alcohol (Live At Manchester Academy).
Exklusiv ist ein Replik der Whatever-12” mit drei Songs dabei, sowie ein 56-seitiges Buch mit exklusiven Fotos und Sleeve Notes, einen 12”x12”-Kunstdruck, einen Jutebeutel, einen Schlüsselanhänger, einen Aufnäher und fünf Postkarten.

The limited edition box set comes packaged in a deluxe box with magnetic closure lid, and includes includes both the three CD set and vinyl edition of the album and a 56 page hard backed coffee table book with exclusive photographs from a number of the photographers who documented the group’s early days as well as never before seen behind the scenes photographs taken by some of those closest to the band.
The book also includes extensive sleeve notes from respected music critic Neil McCormick.
Additional content includes a 12” x 12” print, exclusive tote bag, enamel key ring, badge set and a set of 5 postcards with exclusive images from the period.
The box set also includes an exclusive 7” single (both tracks feature on the 3rd CD).
A 12" remastered replica of the Whatever single was included with pre orders from the Oasis official web store.
