Description
You are bidding for my much cherished copy of Oasis' classic debut album, Definitely Maybe, on 12" vinyl in near mint condition.
I am not a record shop or dealer, and this is an original first pressing, which I queued up to buy at midnight as a 16 year old from HMV on the day of release all the way back in 1994!
It was released on the legendary Creation Records label with the catalogue no. CRE LP 169, barcode no. 5017556301692. Please beware of the re-release on Oasis own Big Brother Records in 2008 if you're after a genuine original copy from 1994.
This is a double LP in a gatefold sleeve with the iconic artwork by Brian Cannon at Microdot in fantastic condition for a 19 year old record! Personally I love the way that the Burt Bacarach record on the rear cover appears to be looking at the track listing!

Note the inclusion of the beautiful acoustic 'Sad Song' which was only ever available on the vinyl version of the album and the only reason that I played the record at the time. So Side's 1, 3 & 4 are unplayed. This song was the first Oasis song released with vocals by Noel rather than Liam.
The vinyl itself has no marks, bumps or scratches and is in as close to mint condition as is possible. It has the etching #CRE 169 dAMONT on the run out groove which is what you'd expect to see on an original such as this.
The gatefold inner sleeve has some fantastic photos of the band and (crucially for a 16 yr old at the time) the printed lyrics to the entire album.
The outside of the gatefold sleeve has some scuffing at the edges and some very minor marks all visible in the photos.
This is a very reluctant sale by a genuine fan hence I have set a reserve (not something I do with other everyday items on eBay). However, you still have the opportunity to grab yourself a bargain especially as this will only become more collectible, considering the 20th anniversary is only a year away.
