Description
For auction is my original copy of 'Definitely Maybe' by Oasis. One of the greatest ever debut albums. This is a UK 1st edition 1994. The Original Creation Vinyl LP. I bought this on release and have only played it using high quality playback systems. There are better sleeves but I've yet to see better vinyl for this 28year old version.

According to the standard LP/vinyl 'goldmine scale' I would conservatively classify the condition of each element as follows:
Outer sleeve = Very Good (VG) - The spine has general wear particularly towards the top section (see pics). - The top edge has a 2 inch split on both parts of the gate fold due to shelf wear (see pic). - The front is in good condition with a bright shine. There is some mild ring wear at edge and middle causing one or two tiny flecks of picture ink loss (see pic). - The open edge is in great condition with only a little wear. - The bottom edge has some general shelf wear. - The back is in good condition with only mild ring wear. Shine is good (see pic).
If you are in any doubt about the condition of the outer sleeve please do not bid for this item.
Inner Sleeves = Very Good (VG) These are basic thin paper sleeves with cut-outs revealing the record labels. - Each of the two sleeves are in good condition but have some subtle brown discoleration in patches. Not sure what this is. They are the original inners and as such have not been replaced.
Record labels = Near Mint (NM) - Side 2 and side 4 are mint. - Side 1 and side 3 appear to include small patches of manufacturing defects to the surface of the paper. These are subtle but I should point them out.
Vinyl = Near Mint (NM)/ Very Good+ (VG+)
- Playback reveals one or two pops/clicks/pressing flaws but no distracting 'across the groove' scratches.
- Side 4 'Slide Away' has two visible scratches about halfway through the track. On playback these are not audible on my system (using Ortofon Kontrapunkt B MC cartridge with nude FG 80 stylus). - The vinyl has not been professionally cleaned.
I have described this item honestly and to the best of my ability. If you have any questions relating to this record please do not hesitate to ask. Please note that the record player in the picture is NOT for sale! I am NOT a record dealer. I use Discogs to identify and grade all my LPs.
