Oasis ‘Mark 2’ take on Wembley Stadium at the height of the English summer in 2000. They played 2 consecutive nights there. 1st night Liam looking like Lennon in 1968, 2nd night Liam ever so slightly worse for wear dressed all in black… Support came from Doves and Happy Mondays. This is the official triple vinyl from the first night released on Big Brother Recordings. To our ears Liam’s voice sounds raspy, gruff and appropriately massive. The following night quite spectacularly went out live direct on Sky One. Having went to the first night we watched the live television broadcast of the second night in London. It was hilarious. Last time we checked it was still available to view on the interwebs if you fancy some comedic gold. We all know the background, Liam and Patsy had just split up and Noel and Meg would sadly follow later that year. The vibes were ominous. Noel and Liam themselves had unsurprisingly fell out earlier in the year too and there was real doubt as to whether these concerts would even go ahead. Noel ultimately returned to the fold – his first gig at Lansdowne Road with Supergrass supporting a month or so before this concert which was magic too!

This is a triple vinyl album and carries some heft. It is not brand new and we don’t claim it to be. We’ve looked at other soulless, hyped up listings of this item on ebay proclaiming rarity this and limited that. Our listing will stand up to any of them. This is the real deal. We don’t disrespect you or the band – this is a record, a live Oasis album on vinyl. Nothing more nor less. It is not the holy grail of vinyl. Our particular copy was purchased almost 20 years ago in Ireland as a genuine memento of the concert. The second time we seen Oasis. Having also purchased the original double ‘red cover’ CD and accompanying VHS we would estimate the vinyl records themselves have been played 2 or 3 times at most. The album is sold as is. We don’t besmirch the good Oasis name and don’t sell ourselves short in offering you something we ourselves would be unhappy purchasing. As always we have tried to provide as many photos as possible to give you the best idea of what you are bidding for. Look carefully at them, we do not offer returns on vinyl. The cover is in very good condition as are the three records themselves considering the item was originally released on a gloomy Monday on 13th November 2000.
