Description
The Obsession vinyl album 'Scarred For Life' is a classic 80s metal LP that is a must-have for any heavy metal collector. This hi-fi LP, released in 1986, capture the essence of 80s heavy metal, thrash, and speed metal. This New Haven Ct. Entry into the metal thrash scene in '86 makes this release a bit harder to attain.
The record is in very good plus (VG+) condition and is still in its original shrink wrap_cardboard outer sleeve, and is a valuable addition to any music collection.
This LP comes from my personal collection and each LP that I list has not been on a turntable for at least 30 years. Played once.
98% of listing I have for LPs, will be first pressings.
FYI, all LPs in my collection have always been stored upright.
This LP comes in a vinyl anti- static inner sleeve.
Vinyl, is in VG+ condition and Outer Jacket (cardboard sleeve) is in VG+ condition.
What Does “Very Good Plus” Vinyl Condition Mean?
A record with Very Good Plus rating is without any major noticeable faults. There should only be very, very minor audio distortion. On the downside, you may find a few inaudible marks and a slight background crackle, although if that’s the case, there’s a strong argument that the record should be graded a level down. On the whole, despite a few flaws, these records are generally good investments and should last for years to come (if you take care of them).
Very Good Plus Vinyl Rating Characteristics
Album cover has noticeable wear from frequent use including creases and a bent corner or two
Shrink wrap likely removed decades ago.
Vinyl discs are showing obvious wear and may have visible surface scratches
Still sounds great to the listening ear but will have some surface noise from normal wear and/or dirt and grime
Likely stored properly in a temperature controlled environment, upright in a standard record sleeve.
This LP will be shipped in a record specific box with inserts to keep the LP
Hype Sticker intact.
