   For sale is a vinyl record by Ohio Players titled Honey, originally released in 1975 by Mercury Records with a gate-fold presentation. According to the liner notes, this album was mastered at Masterdisk Studios of New York City by Gilbert Kong In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "Sterling",  followed by the matrix numbers CT-II/CT-II, indicating that the record was lacquered at Sterling Sound of New York City, N.Y., before an early stamper was used to make this record at Columbia Records' pressing plant located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this album used, professionally cleaned it in my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. The cover is graded as VG+ because of some corner blunts, ring wear, edge rubs and a small stress cracks along the spine. The spine has color loss at the corners from blunts and along the edges from rubs and stress cracks. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with shiny and bright surfaces, without any surface sctches, smudges or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading it as Near Mint without any surface noise, pops or skips from start to finish. This is the best copy of this record that I have ever heard and you would be hard pressed to find another copy in this condition, especially a Terre Haute, Sterling pressing. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.  I have a lot more Funk records, as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
