Description
Having collected for so many years, I've always said what many are now claim as the gospel truth, the phenomenon of the "hot stamper". Basically that there is a difference between pressings that make some records completely amazing and some that just fall flat.
Here we have a sealed copy of Honey with a promo-style corner cut. Beings that this particular corner cut was used for promotional copies, (the notch in the center of the cut tells us this), it's also extremely likely that this was at the top of the first press run, the first of the first pressings, possibly a custom label, and the first copies pressed after the test pressings. That makes this copy likely the best analog copy you can find, but unfortunately we can't sample it, as it's SEALED… but anyway, you can just about bank on it…
The jacket is MINT- condition, aside from the promo corner cut, with no blunting or issues. The slight ring you see on the rear of the jacket is actually just some scuff on the shrink wrap that reacted to the flash from my camera. There will be no noticeable ring wear, once you pop the cork and unwrap this GF copy, original pressing.
