Description
This is a copy of EMI/Columbia SBO 2753, the David Oistrakh Trio performing Beethoven's Triple Concerto with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Malcolm Sargent. This is an early pressing with the sought after "blue/silver" labels. The vinyl is graded VG+; it has light surface noise and three brief (about 10 seconds each) ticks, once on side A about 8 minutes in, and twice early on side B. The side B label has a faint, ring-shaped brown stain. The jacket is also VG+ with minor ring wear, and bubbling of the lamination at the upper and lower left corners. The original polylined paper sleeve, dated November 1960, is graded EX with a few wrinkles. This record has been ultrasonically cleaned, play-graded all the way through on a Merrill-Williams REAL 101 turntable, and placed in a heavy, double-lined antistatic sleeve. A new 2.5 mil outer sleeve is provided.
