Description

Here is a great release on the Philips label (835 245-48AY). Daivid Oistrakh, accompanied by Lew Oborin, performs the complete repetoire of Beethoven violins sonatas. Boxed quadruple album Dutch stereo pressing, includes original NM- insert booklet. Original heavy box.

Condition - The box shows light wear with color fading along spine and a little splitting on back. The box grades at VG+. The records shiny and most appear to have few if any signs of use, except side 8 which shows a moderate mark on the first track. Even with the mark, the side plays pretty nicely with just a little extra noise at the mark. Most of the sides grade at Near Mint to Near Mint Minus by sight, but side 8 is more like VG+ by sight and VG+ by listening grade. Other sides play well, but some have light periodic static. The listening grades for the other 7 sides is NM- to VG++.

Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.

Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records, discs or tapes. The highest grade I give to unsealed records, discs or tapes is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
