Okeh 6707 Memphis Minnie & Little Son Joe - Black Rat Swing (A) + Looking the World Over (B). Condition is V+. The surface is shiny with A side nearly free of scratches/scuffs but has 1.5” lam crack (not audible). The B side has some scuffs/ light scratches (none are audible). There is chipping on the record’s edge well away from lead-in groove (see photo #5).The playback is excellent and without issues. Recorded either in 1941 or 1943. Little Son Joe (Ernest Lawlars) was Minnie’s 3rd husband who sings the A side with Minnie’s guitar accompaniment; on the B side, Minnie sings and plays lead guitar with Lawlar on bass.
