N (New): Never played.
N- (Near Mint/New): Has been played; still looks new; no visible signs of wear/damage.
E (Excellent): Still very shiny; no groove wear; may have only a few minor signs of wear such as tiny surface scuffs and scratches from being slipped in and out of jackets.
E- (Near Excellent): Very minor groove wear and minor surface scratches; still shiny.
V+ (Better than Average): Minor surface scratches may sound; no skip or repeat grooves; still somewhat shiny.
V (Average): Still very playable; general wear such that surface noise may be somewhat significant; very light graying or dull shine.
