Description

Offered for auction is this neat old vintage " SUN RECORD COMPANY - ELVIS PRESLEY - 209 " 10" 78 rpm RECORD.  Features the song " THAT'S ALL RIGHT " (Arthur Crudup) - VOCAL U-128 - U-128-2 OK #72 (etched matrix number) on one side.  The other side features BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY (Bill Monroe) - VOCAL U-129 - U-129-2 #72 OK (etched matrix number).  Additional markings on the two labels include;  SCOTTY and BILL - WABASH   BMI - MEMPHIS TENNESSEE - PEER   BMI.  Record measures 9 13/16" in diameter.

Condition cosmetically is fair.  We did NOT play this Record, so we cannot tell you how it sounds!  Record has a long thin hairline crack that runs from underneath the label to the edge of the record (see photos).  Shows overall general wear and soiling from use, storage and handling, with a couple of small wavy spots on the outer edge, numerous light scuffs and scratches to the playing surfaces, and some light stains and loss of finish to the labels, but no other damage that we can see.  SELLS AS IS!  Please see photos / scans above and below and bid accordingly.
