LABEL: Impulse! ?– A-5 (1961 Stereo)
TITLE: Blues & the Abstract Truth
CONDITION:
SLEEVE: A little rough VG / The front cover shows a fair amount of wear w/ a small scratch on one of his fingers. Has a couple of small spine creases, and a small lamination peel at the top left corner. The back cover also has some wear and a small lamination peel at the top right corner. Has heavy wear w/ splits at the top corners, the largest being a 1" split at the top right corner. The bottom seam has small wear spots at the corners and the beginning of a light partial 1" split in the middle. The spine is intact w/ all graphics visible but wear at the corners. There is also some light staining inside the gatefold sleeve
RECORD: Retains high original gloss w/ some light surface scuffs. Plays VG++ w/ a little very light random background surface noise and great Van Gelder sound / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: One of THE great Jazz LP's!! The cover is a bit rough but here's a chance to grab an original copy that plays pretty well.
