Description

This is Impulse A-75 Oliver Nelson, More Blues And The Abstract Truth, a orange and black label, original mono issue with Van Gelder  written in the dead wax. The album features Thad Jones, Ben Webster, Pepper Adams, Phil Woods and many more. The record looks VG but plays VG+, with some  marks causing some  intermittent background noise, but no skips or distortion. The instruments sound brilliant and exciting. The glossy gate-fold cover (with original paper inner sleeve) has some edge wear and light ring wear on the back, but is otherwise excellent and intact. This is an excellent "play" copy of a rare original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders.
