Description
This is New Jazz Records NJLP 8233, Oliver Nelson Taking Care Of Business, a purple, (wide) deep groove, Bergenfield NJ, label original mono issue of this classic record with RVG stamped in the dead wax. The record is in a strong VG+ condition showing light marks on both sides and a pressing blemish on side 1 that does not affect the play, and playing quietly except for some light background audible at the beginning of the 2nd track of side 2; hence the extra (+). The glossy cover has 3" of clear tape on the bottom seam and is otherwise umblemished and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an outstanding collector's grade copy of this beautiful original New Jazz recording with all the proper markings in place.
