Description

Olivia Newton-John 7" Japan Polydor “If Not For You” rare white label promo 45. DP 1793.


This one really is pretty scarce. Olivia’s first solo single, in MONO sound, 45 rpm, white label promo on Polydor Records, 1971. A cover of Bob Dylan’s “If Not For You,” in similar style to the cover by George Harrison.


B-side is “The Biggest Clown,” which still has never been released to any other format (written by John Rostill, who penned several of Olivia’s early hits) .


Vinyl is EX with clean labels & both sides play tested — sounds great. Truly near mint for a 51-year-old record.


The picture sleeve shows signs of its age, with brownish/yellowing of the formerly white paper, and there is one darker stain about the size of a thumb on the front cover. Please see photos — all are of the actual item you will receive.
