 The late Omar Khorshid is one of the most loved and respected musicians from the middle east, he single-handedly introduced the electric guitar to modern arabic music and created a very individual sound by blending the sound of his 'fender stratocaster' with psychedelic Moog and Hammond organ sounds over solid  groovy oriental percussion. Among his influences from the west, Les Paul,  Dick Dale the founder of the surf guitar sound and the Shadows' Hank Marvin. Omar has performed with the greatest ; Om Kulthum, Abdul Halm Hafez, Mahamad Abdul Wahab, Baligh Hamdy etc...

This is Omar's first Lp as a leader. This is an original first pressing release from 1974.

The laminated cover has very few signs of age and storage such as some minor creases, a tiny tear of 1 mm at opening and some barely noticeable yellowing at back. There are no writings, sticker marks or anything visually disturbing.

The record was entirely played for a very accurate description, it plays very well and sounds nice throughout in spite of superficial marks and some slight dishing. A bit of background noise or clicks is audible during softer parts. The music sounds perfectly alright, no pitch or tonality alteration at all.
