We are selling another Record Book (On our Merry Way) with Dorothy Lamour James Stewart & Henry Fonda, there are two records in the book. We did what we could to research the origination of the book with little success. We were told that this could be original recordings from the movie studio and possibly the artwork was also originally conceived to be the cover drawings for the records themselves. They are all obviously hand painted and put together as if they were some kind of prototype. The man we are selling these collections for was very much a part of the movie and record industry. We sold a lot of his personal autograph collection from many Holywood actors and actresses, producers, and other indivduals related to that field. He has an extensive collection of records, thousands and thousands of 45, 33, and 78RPM records. He has a large collection of these types of record sets that almost all of the records have hand written or typed audio recording labels, and the same type of original artwork. I'm hoping that someone will have the knowledge to help us with the origination of these record sets and if they are some of the first recordings of these Hollywood movies, or musicals which ever the case may be.
