Description

OK- here’s the deal. I found this record at a garage sale, and I immediately knew it was valuable. It is a copy of Led Zeppelin IV from Atlantic Records with an unprinted A side label! The B side is normal. I have never seen anything like it in my 30 plus years of collecting records. My record dealer friend flipped out when I sent him the pictures. A once in a lifetime opportunity to own an ultra-rare LP. I decided to start this auction at a low price to get things going. The record is fairly playable- with a deep scratch on track one of side one, and numerous other small scratches. It looks cosmetically great- shiny and clean. I put it through my Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine a few times .I’d rate it as “Good”. But if you are interested in this rarity, you’re not going to play it much. The gatefold jacket is clean and strong- no tears. The inner sleeve has tape on it- but clean and bright. I think this is extremely rare- as I said before- I’ve never seen or heard of such a mistake.
