Description

Takoma B 1023.  Stereo.  Recorded by Frederick Usher and Richard Barlow in a back alley of Los Angeles and at a private home, this LP features the only known recordings of Eddie "One String" Jones and harmonica player Edward Hazelton.  The back liner notes tell the whole story.  Recorded February 14 and March 1, 1960.  The vinyl plays VG+.  The cover is still in shrink, but has a wrinkle in the bottom left corner and a stain on the bottom right.  One String gets all of side one and half of side two, Hazelton gets the rest.  Both performers' descriptions of their art are as interesting as the music they produce.  See scans for more details.
