Description
Open Road - windy Daze
Greenwich Gramophone Company GSLP 1001
Original 1971 UK pressing
This is from my personal collection; it's been played quite a lot, but the vinyl is still in great shape, without any noticeable marks. There is a tiny pressing imperfection on A2, but you have to listen very closely to hear it.
The gatefold cover is still in fine shape. There is some minimal general wear, but only one noticeable blemish: on the back, a price tag has been torn off, causing a little damage. I scanned the back, so you can check out the extent of the damage yourself (lower right-hand corner). This is by far the most serious damage: there are no splits, tears or unwanted writing.
Both labels are clean.
I'm selling off the records I have collected since 1968, because I have realised that although I prefer vinyl in theory, I hardly ever listen to them anymore, as I've got most of the music on CD reissues now. I bought these records new, and have taken great care of them. I have played all of them a few times, but on good equipment, and when I take them out of their sleeves, I don't touch the playing surface, and I always put them back in their sleeves immediately. They are stored correctly, so they are not warped.
This means that my records still sound practically as new, without any scratches or any other damage. If you turn the treble up, you might hear the occasional soft click or faint crackling between tracks or in very quiet passages, but this is usually due to the pressing. (If you have been a collector for a while, you‘ll know that 100% perfect pressings are not all that common.)
The vinyl looks perfect in normal daylight, but under very bright light you can see some faint superficial lines (but can't you always?).
I will carefully describe any flaws that go beyond this; otherwise you can assume that the above description applies.
I will describe the covers individually, because I think here generalisations are pretty useless for the buyer. This will make some of them sound less perfect than they actually are, because I will focus on the flaws (rather than tell you how fantastic they still look). If there is a problem with the cover, I will always show this area in the scan, as I want you to know what to expect. One generalisation: I NEVER write on covers or labels.
If you have any questions, please contact me. I can also email you scans of any other part of the cover or labels.
If you want to check out my feedback, I suggest you go back a few years; it's been about five years since I last sold similar stuff.
Please check out my other stuff. Sehen Sie sich auch meine anderen Artikel – wird in einem neuen Fenster oder Reiter geöffnet an.!

COMBINED POSTAGE
If you buy more than one item, the reduced postage will NOT be calculated automatically (I'm too lazy to work out how this could be done).
Wait for my invoice, or feel free to subtract the amount yourself.
I try to post the records the day after receiving payment, if possible. There is nothing else I can do to speed up delivery. If you happen to live in a country with slow customs or postal service (hello, Italy!), you'll simply need patience (but then you probably already know that).
