This record is used, in like-new condition, and comes from a collection of over 5000 vinyl records from a smoke free house. USA 2005 Roadrunner 168 618 123-1 out-of-print double vinyl LP 'Ghost Reveries' by Swedish Death metal OPETH. Ghost Reveries is the eighth full-length studio album by Swedish progressive death metal band Opeth. It is their first album with their new record label, Roadrunner Records. This album is similar in style to Deliverance. However, it retains the atmospheric elements of Damnation with clean vocals that carry a more gothic quality than what was heard in previous efforts.Ghost Reveries was initially intended to be a concept album, with numerous tracks linking together a story of a man's turmoil after committing an unconscionable act, symbolised by killing his own mother. However, Mikael Åkerfeldt claims he wanted the track "Isolation Years" on the album despite its irrelevance to the plot. Thus, the album only partly portrays a concept, not fully arranged in the poetic manner as previous releases such as Still Life and My Arms, Your Hearse.
