Description

This listing is for the first 11 volumes of the "History of Rock" vinyl record collection (numbers HRL001-011), which were issued by Orbis to accompany the History of Rock part-work magazine from 1982 onwards. These were my personal records, that I bought at the same time as the magazine. I bought the first 11 volumes but stopped at that point (Orbis issued 40 volumes in total). They come from a smoke-free home.

Condition - I can only grade them visually as I no longer have a working record player. However, they are in VGC, most having been played only once, then stored out of sunlight in a record case ever since. I believe there are a couple of volumes that I never actually got around to playing. Their jackets are also in very good condition, with just a few marks and a couple of small corner bumps (that I believe happened in transit through the post). A couple of the covers have a small "push-through" at the top, which I've tried to show in photo 10, but it is hard to pick this up in a photo. Please Note: The black mark on the right-hand edge of the LP in the last photo is the shadow of  my camera!

For info: These records would have only been played on my Dual 505 record player, fitted with a Nagaoka MP-11 cartridge.
