Description

This vinyl record features the best of OMD's electronic and pop music from the 1980s. The LP comes in a cardboard Gatefold sleeve with an original cover design and has a catalogue number of OMD 1. The record size is 12" and it plays at 33 RPM. The vinyl is in excellent condition (EX), while the sleeve grading is very good plus (VG+).


This edition of The Best of OMD was released by Virgin in 1988 and includes hits such as "Enola Gay" and "Souvenir." The record is a must-have for fans of the band or collectors of this music genre.


Note: The inside of the Gatefold Sleeve is showing some storage damage - see pics… otherwise it is in Excellent condition for its age.

Vinyl Grading Guide

The vinyl is graded with the standard UK Record Collector Magazine grading system.

All items listed are UK release, standard black vinyl unless stated.


Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. 

Excellent (Ex)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (Vg)
The record has obviously been played many times, and may have slight deterioration in sound quality, noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve will have wear and tear, as expected for its age.

Good (Gd)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches. The cover and contents suffer from significant folding, scuffing of edges, discolouration, etc.
