This is the first time I have seen this recording for sale - anywhere. Here is Bembeya Jazz National, recorded as Orchestre de Beyla, which in the early days of Guinean independence was their official state name when they represented their region of Beyla. This LP was recorded by the Voice of America's Leo Sarkisian in 1962, before the group had gone electric, and before Demba Camara had joined the orchestra. At this stage the orchestra were all acoustic, and featured Diené Camara, a female vocalist. Also present are Sekou "Diamond Fingers" Diabaté on acoustic guitar, and many other members of Bembeya Jazz. Here is the personnel on the album, as introduced on this LP by Sékou "Le Grow" Camara:

Cover: Generic white cover. Water stain on one side of disc label and very small writing on other side of label.
Disc: Red vinyl. VG- - to VG-. The disc is quite clean and doesn't have the ingrained dust that items from this region often exhibit. There are lots of pops and clicks with occasional better passages, though despite these it is a joy to listen to.

Track B 1 two skips
Track B 3 a skip that loops, tonearm needs to be manually moved forward.
The record has been played on my old Dual 1209, which tracks well and hence there are only a few skips. The purchaser of this record will likely have a better turntable, so there may be no skips at all, though the amount of skips will likely vary from turntable to turntable.
