Oregon! Oregon!: A Centennial Fable in Three Acts starring Stan Freberg, starring Stan Freberg and Stubby Kaye, Blitz-Weinhard Co., LP
This is a promotional LP produced by the late great comedy legend Stan Freberg. It was commissioned by an Oregon beer company to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oregon's becoming a state in 1959. It is purportedly about how Oregon became a state. But if you expect to actually learn anything about Oregon history, you are going to be disappointed. This is the Stan Freberg of "St. George and the Dragonet" and "Green Christmas," a wild hilarious musical romp with original songs starring Freberg and Stubby Kaye of "L'il Abner" and "Guys and Dolls" fame about how Oregon was saved from remaining a territory and became a state by the defeat of a crazy witch!

The LP plays very well, with minor surface noise and no skips. The LP sleeve is in poor condition, with splits on all three sides with tape repairs on the sides, soiling and ring wear.
