This is an original 1944 box set of 78 RPM records by Josh White Sr., titled "Songs By Josh White." The set includes three 10-inch white shellac records on the Asch record label. It is a special and collector's edition, being the first pressing of this release.

This box set is a compilation of traditional folk, blues, gospel, social protest music, with a focus on blues. It features original inner sleeves and cover, and is an anthology of some of the best work by Josh White Sr. The set is in fair condition, with fair grading for both the records and sleeves.
