Here is a RARE JAZZ vocal lp album by Billie Holiday up for sale: A vintage pressing of Billie Holiday's fantastic album "Lady Sings The Blues", originally released in 1956, this is a 1957 2nd pressing released by Verve MG V-8099 (mono). The heavy weight vinyl rates strong VG+, is super clean and glossy, has some faint sleeve marks and a couple light marks, has one tiny 1/8" more moderate mark on side B, has been a very well cared for 58 year old! PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent sound quality, only a couple light errant pops, minimal unobtrusive light surface noise, a VERY enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG, great color, all seams have had neat tape repair done in the past and binder is still partly readable, still has nice front portrait of Billie! The back cover is showing it's age with some light stains and a bit of age discoloration near edges, still a decent hard to find 58 year old cover.
