Their Satanic Majesties Request LP - THE ROLLING STONES (London NPS-2)
Original 1967 U.S. stereo LP. 10 tracks, including: "In Another Land," "She's A Rainbow," "2000 Light Years From Home," more. STONES go psych, for better or worse (most feel the latter, I'm kinda ambivalent). W/ original 3-D, thick gatefold cover, this is an early pressing w/ LONG PLAYING underneath the London logo on the labels. (Later 3-D pressings substitute STEREOPHONIC, which is not even noted on this label.) Dead wax info: Side 1 - ZAL 8126 - 1E / Side 2 - ZAL 8127 - 1F. (Later 3-D pressings have different letters of the alphabet at end, like 1J + 1K.) Includes original psych inner paper sleeve too.
Disc = Side 1 - EX- to EX (2 fingernail-like scuffs, 1 thru almost the entire side, but not affecting play - no skips, pops, etc; Side 2 - EX / Cover = front - slight ring & edge wear, a couple of lite scuff marks on 3-D pic; back - slight ring/edge wear; inside - just the slightest hint of ring wear, almost invisible; 2 1/2" seam split, back upper right corner; 1/2" seam split, back lower right corner; slight edge/corner wear; slight spine edge wear; small piece of spine paper missing on bottom corner / Labels = a few very faint spindle marks around center hole
