Here is a RARE MONO album from my collection offered up for sale: A MONO PROMO pressing of the 1968 album by the band HOURGLASS, their album "Power Of Love", this lp is by Gregg and Duane Allman, their PRE-Allman Brothers Band. Great songs written by them. . . Gregg even plays guitar. . . PLUS they also cover The Beatles song Norwegian Wood with Duane on the Sitar, cool!! This RARE DJ pressing was released by Liberty Records, LRP 7555, a late Mono pressing, so unusual they did not make a separate cover for it, just added an "Audition MONO" sticker to the Stereo version, WOW. The heavy weight vinyl grades VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has many very light marks, nothing heavy, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, some errant light pops, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG+, is clean and bright, edges and corners have wear but are solid, binder edge readable, no splits, no tape, back has very light age discoloration near edges, no signature or writing!
