This is an original '53 thick vinyl U.S. 45 on brilliant maroon and silver RED ROBIN label #114-X45, in trail off is 45-R-3020, other side 45-R-3021, this is a rare small record label that was out of Harlem, and owned by DAN & BOBBY ROBINSON, today this label commands premium prices if you can find the originals. This one is by THE VOCALEERS with rhythm acc. songs are: IS IT A DREAM, & HURRY HOME. Labels are stunning, both are flat maroon with vibrant and detailed silver print, in small print is MANUFACTURED BY ROBINSON RECORD CORP. New York NY. Both labels have NO fading, stains, stickers, writing, wear, defects, etc. Playing surfaces have a deep glossy shine with NO scratches, scuffs, defects, warps, stains, groove wear, etc. Under close inspection I noticed a few tiny hardly noticeable pimples that do not affect play. plays and looks like new. In my doo wop book they rate this song as one of the best out of a thousand ever recorded. This is another early, sought after original doo wop 45 that I am making available it is from a small collection I acquired awhile ago, I never really wanted to part with these gems because of their condition and rarity, also, they are great investments. Unfortunately I have to part with most of them, still I am glad I could make it available to a collector who can give it a great home and keep it preserved in this CONDITION: MINT.
