Description

This is a rare original 78 rpm 10" from ' 56 made in U.S. on the black and gold ONYX label #501, tunes are: MY LOVE COME BACK & HONEY DROP. by THE VELOURS. One side is uptempo the other slower ballad., both with excellent music and terrific lead and harmony vocals. Labels are very clean with NO spindle marks, wear, stains, tears, etc. both are exact same shade with sharp print, my camera is not very good, labels look much better in person. One has a small piece of tape on it, I did not try to remove it, however, I did remove one from an Elvis 78 I will be making available, it came off without tearing the label. Playing surfaces have a mirror like deep glossy shine, with NO groove wear at all, also NO scratches you can feel, and NO defects, warps, cracks, chips, etc. On both sides there are some light scuffs that do not affect play. I played both sides, music and vocals sounded clean and clear with no distortion or annoying background noise, a nice find in this CONDITION: VG++ .
