A short time ago, I acquired a small but beautiful collection of original '50s & '60s doo wop 45s, most on sought after labels, and most in stunning condition, like all good things they will come to an end soon, not to say I don't have many other records, but these are some one of a kind finds. This one is another thick, rigid U.S. 45 on flat black and silver WHIRLIN DISC labels #107, by THE CHANNELS songs are: WHAT DO YOU DO & I REALLY LOVE YOU. in trail off is W-5014-45, and W-5015-45. There are NO other etchings, stampings, etc. This is a very rare sought after alternate take 45 that most all of my books say nothing about, but in the book titled Collecting Rare Records Do You Have Originals. is the following: 2 versions exist, one with a cha cha beat, and the other rock n' rollish. The rare alternate version does not have (N) in the dead wax, (end of quote.)this early pressing does NOT have N in dead wax. One song is a slower ballad, the other up tempo, both with beautiful lead and harmony vocals. Labels are in the most stunning condition, both look like new, NO spindle hole wear, fading, stains, stickers, etc. Playing surfaces are also in the best condition. Both sides have a deep glossy shine NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, warps, etc. Both sides look and sound gorgeous. This is another never played, meticulously stored, rare original doo wop 45 in the most glorious CONDITION: NM + .
