Awhile ago, I purchased a small collection of some of the rarest doo wop 45s in the best condition, some were never even played like this one. most are and were originals with only a few late reissues, many have already been sold on ebay, there are some left, if I did not have to, I would not have sold any of them, original 45s in this condition are already in the hands of collectors unwilling to part with them, they are great investments, unfortunately I have to sell them, but I really do not want to, I know others like them will never come along again in a collection. However, I am glad I can make available these rarities to doo wop collectors looking for the best 45s in the best condition. This one is on thick heavy vinyl with white and very dark blue print SCEPTER Labels, #S-1202, by EDDIE & THE STARLITES, tunes are: TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT & PRETTY LITTLE GIRL. Matrix numbers appear stamped they are: G-374 & G-375 they are neatly done and look stamped, but coud be etched. None the less, this is the original ' 59 first pressing of this terrific hard to find doo wop 45. Labels are near pristine, both are perfect, with only a hardly noticeable hint of wear on one side. Vinyl has a deep glossy shine NO scratches, scuffs, warps, groove wear, defects, stains, etc. It is guaranteed to be an original, not a boot or reissue of any kind, I listened to both sides, one side is a slow ballad with excellent music and beautiful lead and harmony vocals, the other side is an uptempo rocker with the same gorgeous vocals.
