This is a terrific find, it is an original, thick, heavy vinyl, deep groove Lp from 1960 on the VEE JAY rainbow label #VJLP-3012, made in U.S. called: PAUL CHAMBERS 1st BASSMAN. There are 5 tunes: MELODY / BASS REGION / RETROGRESS / MOPP SHOE BLUES / BLESSED. Other players are: WYNTON KELLY / LEX HUMPHRIES / CURTIS FULLER / YUSEF LATEEF / & TOMMY TURRENTINE. Cover is thick cardboard still in shrink wrap. on back and on cover not shrink is a sticker showing the different players, I show a close up, Cover has NO bent or pushed in corners, stains, cut corners, punch holes, saw cuts, fading, ETC. Shrink wrap is very clean with NO tears. On front shrink is sticker. Cover also has very strong seams and spine, NO splits, flaking, or wear. On back is just some very faint browning. there is also a purple NR stamped on back cover not shrink. The lp is in beautiful condition, labels look better in person, both are near pristine, Playing surfaces have a deep glossy shine, NO scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, etc. Under close inspection I noticed only a few very light and small surface scuffs, they do not affect play. It gives me pleasure to make it available in this CONDITION: COVER NM - - / LP NM - . Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, Plus $1 for lp mailer box.
