Description
This is an original '62 U.S. Lp of the BILL EVANS TRIO called MOONBEAMS on the RIVERSIDE label # RLP 428, it is a thick heavy rigid pressing with blue and silver print, labels R1 is etched in trail off. Labels are near pristine, both have deep silver print no bad spindle marks, stickers, writing, fading, or spindle hole wear, Playing surfaces have a very deep gloss mirror like shine, No groove wear, defects, warps, or bad scratches, there are some light scuffs on both sides that do not affect play. I played 3 excerpts from each track, instruments sounded clean, clear, and detailed with no loud or annoying background noise or distortion, I did hear some soft background ticking here and there that did not take away from these wonderful performances. The cover is made of thick cardboard with shiny lamination and nice photo on front. back has extensive JOE GOLDBERG notes and song titles, photo, etc. Front has light wear, back has faint yellow name on top and light browning with some very light wear, seams and spine have wear, spine has splitting. No stickers. or badly bent corners. CONDITION: Cover VG + / Lp VG + + .
