This is a nice example of a thick heavy vinyl BOB DYLAN first lp on red COLUMBIA 6 eye logo labels, it is an original from 1962 #CL-1779, matrix numbers are stamped in trail off followed by 1E, 1F. There are 7 songs side one, 6 side two. (see close up pics for titles), This lp was purchased from the collection of a friend of Arlo Guthrie. Labels are in wonderful condition with only a small handful of faint spindle trails, No bad spindle marks or spindle hole wear. and No stickers, writing, fading, stains, etc. Vinyl has a beautiful gloss shine with No dulling groove wear at all, and No warps, defects, or scratches you can feel, just has a small handful of very light surface scratches that do not affect play. I played an excerpt from every track, they sounded clean and clear with absolutely no skips, distortion or annoying background noise. acoustic folk lps have many quiet passages where background ticks can easily be heard , but this lp sounds wonderful, I made sure to play on most of the bands separating each song and they were quiet as well, I heard only a few soft occasional background ticking just here and there. vocals, guitar and harmonica sounded clean and detailed, The cover is the original that came with this lp, as is the inner sleeve, Cover is thick cardboard with No seam or spine splitting, bent or pushed in corners, etc., does have some mild browning and wear. seams and spine also have some wear and browning, inner sleeve has seam splits.
