Description
This is an original SUMMER DAYS (and Summer Nights) U.S. Lp by THE BEACH BOYS. on CAPITOL rainbow label #T-2354, etched in trail off is T1-23547-P7 G other side: T2-2354-T8 G. Labels are clean with only a faint spindle trail on each side, vinyl has a mirror gloss shine no groove wear, scratches, defects, warps, etc. under close inspection I noticed some surface scuffs here and there, they do not affect play. I played excerpts, they sounded clean, clear and undistorted with no annoying background noise. I heard only a very occasional soft background ticking. Cover is still in original shrink wrap with no tears, it covers seams and spine completely, spine print is perfect, shrink only has light wear, and wrinkling, cover has no seam or spine splits, bent or pushed in corners, punch holes, saw cuts, cut corners, rivets, etc. Cover has no fading, stains, ring wear, etc. CONDITION: Cover NM - / Lp VG + + . Capitol inner sleeve has no seam splits, etc. These original Beach Boys lps are hard to find in this condition, they were played to death, I know because my friends and I would play them on our portable players while playing spine the bottle and post man etc. that is one of the few things we had back then.
