Description
Breakthrough LP (Sentar LP 101) by: THE NEW COLONY SIX
Original 1966 mono LP by well-known Chicagoland '60s garage sextet. Their debut album, a solid garage rock disc thru & thru - includes the amazing "Mystic Eyes"-influenced "At The River's Edge" plus other winners, like: "Last Nite," "Dawn Is Breaking," "I Lie Awake," "Some People Think I'm A Playboy," etc. 12 tracks in all, no duds & only 2 cover songs, making this one of the finest '60s garage LPs in existence - 'course y'all already knew that.
And this copy is in superb shape - vinyl is M- to NM and plays incredibly great. It's been in my possession for over 20 years, so it's been treated like a family member. No reserve on this killer, either!
Disc = M- to NM/Cover = EX+ to M- (tiny wear in 3 corners; barely a hint of seam wear; very lite back cover wear; 2 very lite scuffs on back cover; glue bleed on back cover paste-on, right side only (see pic)/Labels = perfect, no signs of spindle marks
My strict grading = NM, M-, EX, VG (and all the + or - variations) As always, satisfaction is guaranteed.
