Description

 This is a very fine Stereo stock copy pressing of the THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO 1967 debut LP produced by Andy Warhol, Verve Records, V6-5008 [S]. This is a Version 3 cover with the original peel-off banana peel on the front cover and the torso airbrused off the band photo on the back cover. Publishing on the label is credited to "Three Prong Music".  According to the Goldmine Standard I would grade the overall cover condition VG+. No split seams or ringwear on gatefold cover. Sturdy spine. Original peel-off banana peel is completely intact yet slightly frayed on the very top portion. Nothing major. According to the Goldmine Standard I would rate the overall vinyl condition a NM-. Vinyl surface has nice gloss and sheen with no apparent surface scratches. Very clean. Labels look good with ever the slightest sign of spindlewear.
