FREDDIE REDD QUARTET with JACKIE McLEAN "THE CONNECTION" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4027.  Scarce vintage jazz Lp.  Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Jackie McLean/alto sax; Freddie Redd/piano; Michael Mattos/bass; Larry Ritchie/drums.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful gloss)!!  The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape: bright and clean, displays wonderfully!!  There is hardly any wear to the lamination on front.  Spine is virtually perfect and legible.  Small name written faintly on back cover at top left corner.  There is also a hardly noticeable, very faint discoloration by some areas at bottom of back cover.  NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23, N.Y.  The songs are:  Who Killed Cock Robin; Wigglin'; Music Forever; Time To Smile; Theme For Sister Salvation; Jim Dunn's Dilemma; O.D.
