Description

An original near mint condition 1944 Judy Garland “Meet Me in St Louis” three (3) 78 RPM record set with album and six page colorful fold out flyer.  The three records appear to have had minimal handling and the colorful cardboard album is in mint or near mint condition. The 6 page 5 ½ x 8 ½ inch fold out Meet Me in St Louis flyer is in mint condition.  It appears someone bought the album in 1944 and played the records very few times and stored the album away.  The album cover states in part

 

“JUDY GARLAND IN SELECTIONS FROM THE METRO-GOLDWYN-MAYER MUSICAL PICTURE “MEET ME IN ST LOUIS”, DIRECTED BY VINCENTE MINNELLI, ORCHESTRA DIRECTED BY GEORGE STILL, COPYRIGHT 1944 DECCA RECORDS”. 

 

The songs are:

 

“MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, THE TROLLEY SONG, SKIP TO MY LOU, THE BOY  NEXT DOOR, HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY CHRISTMAS, BOYS AND GIRLS LIKE YOU”.
