COMMENTS
This 2nd Spooky Tooth LP is rated by critics as being one of the most outstanding examples of early progressive hard rock. The Band originates from a bluesy background under the previous name of Art but changed their name and style to join the early ranks of underground/ progressive rock wave. This is a fine original copy of the LP on the very collectable 'pink' Island label, in a lovely gatefold sleeve. Notably, this fine LP was produced by Jimmy Miller and the content is very good, e.g. WAITIN' FOR THE WIND opens the LP and is an excellent example of the great, hard and powerful sound the band possessed, THAT WAS ONLY YESTERDAY shows their versatility as they sound like a 'harder' Faces with the lead vocal not unlike early Rod Stewart and BETTER BY YOU, BETTER THAN ME is a true bluesy, hard rock classic with an unforgettable riff.
