Only once in a great while will a MOTOWN rarity like this make itself available. This is an original '62 thick heavy vinyl U.S. Lp on the yellow, brown and blueish with black print TAMLA label #230. Called: I'LL TRY SOMETHING NEW, THE MIRACLES. Only a very few early first pressing Tamla lps had this label. It is much rarer than the original white Tamla label used on #220-231, and today are prized by Motown collectors. The label has the record overlapping the world logo, the oceans on the world and the label of the record are a blueish purple. The record is brown, as is the word Tamla. There are 10 songs, the title song, and, WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT GOODBYE / HE DON'T CARE ABOUT ME / A LOVE THAT CAN NEVER BE / I'VE BEEN GOOD TO YOU / SPEAK LOW / ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE / IF YOUR MOTHER ONLY KNEW / I'VE GOT YOU UNDER MY SKIN / THIS I SWEAR, I PROMISE. It gives me such pleasure to offer this wonderful lp in this condition. The labels are gorgeous and look like the day they were made. Only under close inspection and viewing the label at different angles could I see just one tiny faint spindle trail on just one label. Both playing surfaces have a beautiful deep glossy shine with NO scratches, scuffs, groove wear, defects, warps, mold, etc. The cover is not in as terrific a condition as the lp but is still very good. The spine is strong and has perfect print with NO flaking, splits, or bad wear. Seams are also in great shape with NO splits, flaking, or bad wear. The front has rich colors and NO fading, ring wear, tears, stickers, etc. And has only 1 thin pen line someone drew under the T in the word The, as in The Miracles. The back is also in great condition, there is however some very minor browning, light wear, and a worn bottom left corner, NO cut outs, or bent corners, etc. A very tough find in this CONDITION: COVER VG++ / LP NM. This lp is from the original owner that worked in a record store in the 60s. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence.
