This is a beautiful near mint copy of JIMMY GIUFFRE, lp FREE FALL. It is an original '63 thick vinyl U.S. pressing on white COLUMBIA Mono Radio Station Copy #CL-1964. Other players are: PAUL BLEY & STEVE SWALLOW. The song titles on this lp sound very appealing, in the 60s I bought many lps for just the cover art or song titles, this is one that I would I chose for the song titles. I remember buying Miles Davis Bitches Brew for the cover and ended up playing it to death, that was actually the first jazz lp I purchased I bought mostly psychedelic. Tunes on this lp are: YGGDRASILL (THE GREAT ASH TREE WHO'S ROOTS AND BRANCHES HOLD TOGETHER THE UNIVERSE) / PROPULSION / THREEWE / ORNOTHOIDS / DICHOTOMY / MAN ALONE / SPASMODIC / DIVIDED MAN / PRIMORDIAL CALL / THE FIVE WAYS . This is the earliest pressing of this lp, it has numbers stamped in the trail off followed by 1A /1B. Cover has timing strip and silver star sticker on front. Also has only a hint of browning and wear. and one corner very slightly pushed in, no other bent or pushed in corners, seam or spine splits or flaking, stickers, writing, tears, stains, etc. The lp is in beautiful condition, labels are clean with NO spindle marks, etc. Playing surfaces have a deep gloss shine with NO scratches, groove wear, defects, etc. I noticed only 2 extremely light surface scuffs that do not affect play, plays beautifully.
